| When Sr. Molly arrived in Utah, she had a keen interest in developing a project to benefit Native Americans. She soon encountered the Adopt a Native Elder Program, managed by Linda Meyers, in Park City. Linda, herself an artist, became interested in the Navajo traditional arts. While involving herself In Navajo weaving and other arts, she became aware of some of the needy elderly Navajos. The program has grown rapidly, and now ministers to many elder Navajos in Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Twice a year, Linda goes in a large caravan out onto the reservation area in four separate trips. She brings "Rainbow Boxes" of food, household and medical supplies, clothing and toys and school supplies for the children. | Anna lives on the Navajo reservation in Mexican Hat, a remote spot in Southeast Utah. Anna wears extra large clothes (2X) clothes and size 9D shoes. She needs renewable household supplies like batteries, matches, and paper goods. She enjoys sewing and reading our cards and letters |

| Sr. Molly takes a different senior out each weekday. Some go grocery shopping. Others get their hair done. Many eat lunch at the local senior center.
